This is the new you. Start small by slowly forming new, healthier habits. There’s no dieting for 3 weeks and then going back. When you start, you start for life.

You don’t need gyms, pills or crazy programmes to achieve your weight loss and fitness goals. You already have all the tools you need.

You exercise because you enjoy it. Find an exercise that you love and make it part of your lifestyle. Never make working out a battle of willpower. Exercise for improvement, not to burn calories.

You start this mission for the right reasons. You’re losing weight and getting fit because YOU want to. Not because others are pressuring you.

You understand that people’s perception of you will change. How they handle that is their problem, not yours.

You will never outrun your diet. No amount of exercise can combat consistent poor food choices. What you eat will account for 80% of your succes or failure.

Strength train. You understand that strength training won’t make you bulky, instead it tones your body, boosts your metabolism and helps you lose weight.

Don’t give up the things you love. Sustainable weight loss isn’t about depriving yourself of the things you enjoy. If you know it’s not good for you, slowly cut back.

You know that you’re not perfect, but you always try and do better today than you did yesterday.

You never give up and you know there is no finish line. If something isn’t working, or you’re not enjoying it try something else or reset your goals. Just NEVER give up.
